Painting is something I do for relaxation to clear my mind of daily stresses.
When I do a portrait of an animal or person, I visualize them in front of me, where I can see every detail about them and express it in my paintings. I have a pensive affliction for detail.
When my composition finally emerges, everyone can plainly see, exactly what it is, without asking, 'what were you trying to say when you painted this?' "
